From getting started to supported platforms, viewer participation and billing — the questions we get most. For full setup steps, see the guide.
Yes. Core features are free forever — one platform connection, chat/donation/subscription alert bubbles, one character, and custom images, fonts and resolution. Advanced features like merged streaming, multiple characters, the points system, effects and ad-free unlock with Blute +Plus ($4.99/mo).
No. Free features work with no login. You only connect (log in) when you want to keep your settings across multiple devices, or to purchase Plus.
Chzzk, YouTube and Twitch. Twitch connects with just a channel name, YouTube connects your ongoing live via account sign-in, and Chzzk connects by pasting the channel URL. Merging all three into a single OBS link is a Plus feature.
Yes. Blute works in any broadcasting app that supports a browser source. OBS Studio is the most common, and Streamlabs, XSplit and others work the same way — just paste the overlay link into a browser source.
No. Blute only visually displays donation and subscription events that happen on streaming platforms. It does not receive or intermediate donations. Actual donations happen on YouTube, Twitch and Chzzk, and payouts go through those platforms. The only thing Blute sells is its subscription software (Blute +Plus).
Viewers just chat and their character appears on screen. With the Plus points system on, they earn points by chatting and spend them with commands like !fling or !grow to control their own character, and join rankings, betting and avatar customizing. They use a participation link to check their points and rank.
By default points accrue for each chat message, with more from donations and subscriptions. The streamer controls earn rates, cooldowns and command costs. Viewer points are stored safely on the server, so they aren't lost even if the browser cache is cleared.
Check that the browser source URL matches the link you copied and the size is 1920×1080. Still nothing? Right-click the source → Refresh. If you changed a setting, click Copy link again to update the URL. See the troubleshooting section for details.
Viewer points data is stored on the server and isn't lost. Cache clearing only affects non-economy settings, and reconnecting the same channel restores your saved settings automatically. For important setups, use Export in the help tab to keep a file backup.
